Blessed in Cleveland, Ohio, the kid of a boot repairman, Jack port Weston began performing at age ten. Inspired by his dad and a perceptive instructor in his open public college, he was taken to the Cleveland Playhouse, where he became a member of their children’s movie theater. He remained with the business until he was drafted in to the military at age 19. After his stint in the military he shifted to NY, where he appeared on Broadway in “Bells Are Ringing” with Judy Holliday.
