Adam ‘Munky’ Shaffer was created in California. He began to perform guitar at age 13 when he severed his remaining index finger inside a three wheeler incident. The doctors recommended he take action to rehabilitate his finger. Therefore Munky automatically believed guitar. Sometime afterwards, he became a member of a band along with his friend Brian ‘Mind’ Welch, which also included soon-to-be Korn associates David Silveria and Reggie Fieldy Arvizu, known as “LAPD”. That shortly ended, and their new task was made. That was known as Korn.
