Javier Castro had his 1st professional encounter using the audiovisual globe as a professional photographer, taking pictures regularly for regular publication Sábado Gráfico in the first 1980s. He freelanced for publications and journals (ABC, Un País, La Información, etc.) He held several single exhibitions and participated in a number of collective photography displays. In 1992 he co-wrote and co-directed the documentary Un Tiempo de Neville, premiered on the San Sebastian International Film Celebration, and eventually released in cinemas and broadcasted by Canal Plus. In 1996 he created his initial feature film,Taxi cab, aimed by Carlos Saura, which earned the particular jury award on the San Sebastian International Film Celebration and was marketed to a lot more than thirty countries. The next year he created Pajarico, also by Carlos Saura. Since that time he has created over twelve movies and documentaries. Javier Castro graduated on the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Imaging Research. He keeps a Media Program EAVE Grasp in audiovisual creation, analyzed business administration in the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and produced the Grasp in businness administration for the film market in the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
