Joan Darling began her profession with the brand new York improvisational theater troupe “Idea Players”, and soon graduated to off-Broadwy and Broadway productions. She produced her film debut in 1964 and, in the first ’70s, landed a normal role within the Owen Marshall, Counselor at Regulation (1971) Television series. Furthermore to performing in Television series, she started to write to them. Her 1st directorial work was for the pilot from the strike ’70s Television series Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman (1976) and she aimed many of the series’ shows.
