South African given birth to Joe Vaz was 12 years of age when he 1st stepped to a stage, and hasn’t looked back again since. He went to Tshwane University or college of Technology (previously Technikon Pretoria) from 1991 to 1994 wherein he analyzed Theatre and Light Music, minoring in performing beneath the tuition of Estelle Kokot. As students Joe starred in various productions, included in this Nice Charity, Teahouse from the August Moon, The Cage Parrots, Fool for Like (play), Arsenic and Aged Ribbons, The Fantasticks, and students creation of John Hughes’ The Breakfast time Golf club which Joe modified for the stage.
