John Cairney produced his stage debut in the Recreation area Theater, Glasgow, before enrolling in the RSAMD in Glasgow. After graduation, he became a member of the Wilson Barrett Business as Snake in “THE INSTITUTION for Scandal”. The single was televised double nationally and was also an record documenting for REL Information, Edinburgh, and a video for Green Place Productions, Glasgow. From Uses up he shifted to various other solos on William McGonagall, Robert Provider and Robert Louis Stevenson until he caused New Zealand celebrity, _Alannah O’Sullivan_, on the Edinburgh Celebration of 1978. They wedded in 1980. As Two FOR THE Theater they toured the globe for P&O Cruises as well as the Uk Council aswell as the Keedick Lecture Bureau, NY, with programs on Byron, Wilde and Dorothy Parker until 1986.
