Raised on the dairy plantation in Montrose, Pennsylvania. His parents marketed their plantation in the ’60 where Joe’s teenagers had been spent living nearer to the Philadelphia region. He went to various high academic institutions in the encompassing counties of Philadelphia as well as received a scholarship or grant to Saturday artwork classes at Philadelphia Museum University of Artwork from his senior high school. After senior high school graduation in 1966 he went to Bucks County Complex School for industrial art and was drafted 1968 in to the United States Military where he became a drill trainer at Feet. Bragg, NEW YORK. Section of his military tour of responsibility required training in the Arctic Test Middle in Fort Greely, Alaska with winter season teaching at 40 below zero minimal temp in the iced forests.
