K.L. Young was created Kelly Laurence Amiotte, in Seattle WA. He was raised in Bellingham, WA and moved to LA in 1988 to attempt to sell his initial book. While there, he uncovered screenwriting and was mentored by article writer Dick Morgan. Time for Washington Condition in 1990, he partnered up with filmmaker Eric Morgret in the Nightshade music movies, plus they formed Maelstrom Productions. Maelstrom Productions filmed and released several brief movies, documentaries and advertisements, including the Superstar Wars Event I documentary “THE BEST Range”; “Nocturne”; “FINISHED . in the Doorstep”; and “The Lovecraft” just before finally filming their first feature film, “H.P. Lovecraft’s Unusual Aeons: FINISHED . in the Doorstep”. During this time period, K.L. also began a horror comic mag called “Globe Lovecraft” which went for four problems, and was after that changed with “Strange Aeons”, which includes been released quarterly since 2010.
