Karina Buck continues to be employed in radio, tv and film for more than three years, collecting a wide range of knowledge in both creation and post. She started her career being a broadcast engineer in the Bay Region. Attracted to the artwork and build of storytelling, Karina transferred right down to LA and used editing at PBS affiliate marketer KCET. She spent 5 years as an employee editor at Editel L.A where she gravitated towards the brand new field of “offline editing and enhancing”. There she became an early on pioneer from the “Behind the Moments” genre, editing many early film advertising featurettes including “Lack of Malice” and “The Breakfast time Membership.” After ten years of staff careers, she spent 5 periods editing and associate creating a number of unbiased movies and network dramas, like the music-driven NBC series, “Popularity.” In 1990, Karina founded Genuine Buck Film, a shop production company focusing on documenting “The Making of” the films. Since then, she’s been writing, creating, and editing countless behind-the-scenes documentaries, self-employed movies, and broadcast special offers.
