Kurt Meyer was created in Jerxheim, Decrease Saxony. He became a member of the police push in 1929, and got his nickname “Panzer” from enough time he attempted to perform a prank on another policeman. Meyer after that became area of the control staff from the 12th SS department, the “Hiterjugend” department, and fought in the German work to repel the invasion of France in Normandy in June, 1944. With this fight, he purchased that no prisoners ought to be used, and his males wiped out 18 Canadian prisoners. His department commander was wiped out on June 14th, and Meyer was presented with command from the Hitlerjugend at age 33. He led his males from the Falaise pocket in July, 1944, and was captured on Sept 6th. He was presumed deceased from the Germans and was advertised to Main General. In Dec, 1945, he was attempted by court-martial for battle offences by Canada for the eliminating of prisoners. He was sentenced to loss of life, but the phrase was commuted alive imprisonment.
