In January 2009, Tag Malmborg from Maton Guitars provided Lawrie using a Mastersound electric guitar mounted within a body with photos displaying a number of the features of Lawrie’s 15 years touring with Lee Kernaghan. Lawrie spent some time working with various other great music legends including Jimmy Barnes, Ross (Eagle Rock and roll) Wilson, Slim Dusty, Pal Williams, Adam Blundell, Troy Cassar-Daley, and Matt Scullion.
