Leah Meyerhoff can be an award being successful filmmaker whose debut narrative feature film “I REALLY BELIEVE in Unicorns” premiered theatrically after premiering at SXSW, being successful the Grand Jury Prize on the Atlanta Film Celebration and extra awards through the Woodstock Film Celebration, Nashville Film Celebration, FIRST-TIME Fest, Tribeca Film Institute, SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Film Society, Individual Feature Project, NY University as well as the Adrienne Shelly Base. “I REALLY BELIEVE in Unicorns” was also the starting evening film at Movie theater East Austin, Brooklyn Film Festival, Santa Cruz Film Festival and Lausanne Film Festival and provides screened in a large number of various other film celebrations worldwide, including Edinburgh, Munich, Jerusalem, Sydney and Krakow. Meyerhoff also participated in the IFP Narrative Finishing Labs with her debut feature “I REALLY BELIEVE in Unicorns”, which received the Adrienne Shelly Director’s Honor and was nominated for any Gotham Award. Meyerhoff continues to be featured in Range, The Hollywood Reporter and THE BRAND NEW York Times, and in addition starred in the IFC docudrama Film College, which profiled the building of her brief film “Twitch”.
