Academy Award-winning composer (rating, Pinocchio (1940), conductor, songwriter (“IF YOU WANT Upon a Superstar” [Academy award, Best Tune, 1940) and arranger Leigh Harine was educated on the College or university of Utah. He was a music pupil of J. Spencer Cornwall. He organized the initial transcontinental broadcast from LA in 1932, which year joined up with the Walt Disney Studios. From 1941 he freelanced among different Hollywood studios. He became a member of ASCAP in 1940. His various other popular tune compositions consist of “Hi-Diddle-Dee-Dee”, “Provide a Small Whistle” and “Jiminy Cricket”.
