Manuel “Lito” Mercado Lapid , popularly referred to as Lito Lapid, is a Filipino acting professional, politician and Senator from the Republic from the Philippines. Born on Oct 25, 1955 in Porac, Pampanga, he was the fifth of 9 kids by Jose Lapid and Eleuteria Mercado. He finished his primary education at Porac Central College in 1968, and supplementary education at St. Catherine Academy of Porac, Pampanga in 1972. Lapid didn’t enroll for his tertiary education Lapid wedded Marissa Tadeo Lapid. Lapid got two sons and two daughters with Tadeo: Maan Krista, Mitzi Karen, Maynard and Tag. Maynard can be an aspiring acting professional whose career were only available in 2006.
