Mary Chronopoulou was created in 1933, in Athens, Greece. She analyzed at the Theatre School from the Greek Country wide Theatre, where she produced her stage debut in 1953 as an associate from the Chorus in Euripides’ “Hippolytus”. She experienced a successful theatrical career, showing up in many takes on, like Lillian Hellmann’s “THE TINY Foxes” (as Regina), Tennesse Williams’ “The Fugitive Kind” (as Carol), John Osborne’s “Appear Back Anger” (as Alison Porter)and Maxim Gorky’s “The Opponents” (as Tatiana Bartin). She was extremely active in movies, too, playing a multitude of parts in comedies, musicals, melodramas and film noirs. She also sang in a few of her takes on and movies; a number of the tunes she performed in 1960’s musicals remain well-known today in Greece.
