‘Marie Bjelke-Petersen’ was created to a prospering category of Danish farmers in 1875. After surviving in Copenhagen for some of their lives, the family members migrated to Tasmania in 1891. Marie was a multi-linguist, aswell as an achieved musician and novice painter. After many years of intensive travel around the world, Marie started to create for newspapers, like the ‘Sydney Morning hours Herald’ as well as the ‘Sydney Email’.
