After Mark’s career in film and television he formed a band with school classmate Billy Hardwicke. That they had been producing music together for a long time so produced a band known as Littlehouse. Mark performed classical guitar, Billy Hardwicke performed electric powered and both sang. Fellow close friends Patrick Watson performed bass and Steve Claridge on drums. Tag and Billy composed all the music and on the first gig on the Bull & Gate in Kentish city attracted the interest of Andrew Maurice, who become their supervisor. They documented an EP using the name track getting Close My Eye where Billy Hardwicke would afterwards make use of on his single record The Goodbye Appear. Littlehouse gigged the London circuit between 1998 and 2000 and they split. In 2013 Tag and Billy still play music jointly and celebrate 40 years of camaraderie.
