From an early on age her dream was to be an actress. Her 1st application for performing studies in the Royal Dramatic Movie theater in 1944 was unsuccessful. After extra dramatic training she was finally recognized in 1947. But screenwriter Edwin Blum organized a screen check for RKO which ultimately resulted in her on offer a agreement with General Studios. It had been a difficult choice but she recognized and still left her research after one semester. In Hollywood she quickly produced 10 films, including Sirocco (1951) with Humphrey Bogart.
