Martin McCann was raised with a sibling and sister within the Divis Flats section of Falls Street in Belfast. In 2006 Lord Richard Attenborough solid McCann in his film after looking at him play Alex inside a stage creation of the Clockwork Orange. Attenborough known as Spielberg and suggested McCann. He was asked to LA to audition for ‘The Pacific’ HBO miniseries, Attenborough delivered along moments from his film for Spielberg to see. McCann was solid within the Pacific as R.V. Burgin. In early 2010 he filmed in Belfast for the brand new music-comedy Eliminating Bono, a film about the life span of 1 of Bono’s classmates who tries to create it within the music business, and then have his failures and frustrations magnified from the continuing rise U2. McCann takes on the part of Bono. He offers performed on stage in Ireland and on tour. In 2011 Martin won the Irish Film and Tv Award for best male performance in an attribute film, the nominees within the category were fellow northern Irish man Liam Neeson, Cillian Murphy and Colm Meaney. Martin is becoming Patron from the charity YouthAction North Ireland.
