Originally from Connecticut, Boyd moved to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA to study in the Academy of Art University. In 2002 he graduated having a B.A. in MOVIES & Tv. Within per month he was employed to take his 1st feature in Miami. In 2003 he shot the brief film, “Vanilla” with Joseph Graham, the micro-budget film performed well in celebrations in america and abroad after that afterwards garnered a distribution offer. In 2003 he transferred to LA where he continuing to find are a DP on low-budget indie features and brief films, ultimately amassing over 30 pants and 10 feature credits. In 2006 he was employed by movie director Param Gill to capture a 35mm feature in India, “Rockin’ Meera”.
