Matt was created in Danville, Illinois, and was raised in north New Mexico. He was involved with crisis classes in college, from primary through university. In the 1980s, he’d go to models along with his grandfather, John Barks, who acted in a number of from the westerns filmed in New Mexico at that time. Matt modeled and acted in the past due ’80s and through the ’90s, showing up in many nationwide commercials and many films.
