Maureen Crombie was created in the 6th January 1943 as Maureen Blott. She graduated from RADA in 1962 and proceeded to go directly into the play ‘Believe it or Not really’ at a theater in Coventry. After that into movies where in the group of ‘Joey Boy’ she fulfilled ‘Steptoe and Boy’ professional Harry H Corbett whom she afterwards married. That they had two kids together, a boy Jon and a girl Susannah who continued to become an celebrity and author of children’s books. Susannah also had written the wonderful biography of her dad, ‘The Front Hip and legs from the Cow’. Maureen had suffered from tumor for several years and lastly succumbed in the home in November 1999 surrounded by her family members.
