One of 10 kids, she graduated from Western world Charlotte SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in 1981, then attended East Carolina University Began her job working at the faculty radio station, WZMB (1982). Done camera, writing, making, and anchoring morning hours news breaks on the NBC affiliate marketer in Spokane, Washington (1986). Became weekend anchor and reporter for the Current Affair (1986), and called anchor when then-anchor Maury Povich transferred to daytime chat (1991). Became primary anchor for the entertainment information magazine present, Extra (1994). Presently, leading anchor on WBTV in Charlotte, NC.
