Miguel Hernández pursued a Bachelor Level in Music Functionality (electric guitar) on the Escuela Nacional De Música, UNAM. Towards the finish of his research, Hernández became thinking about electro acoustic music and audio artwork. In these areas, his function “Un Santo Cuántico” (commissioned with the Mexico 2000 Audio Art Celebration) was honored the 28th International Award for Electroacoustic Music and Audio Art in the IMEB (Bourges, France). His music continues to be performed in France, Spain, Colombia, USA, Chile, Canada and Mexico. He’s also a founding person in Machintosco (a collective of music artists and artists specialized in electro acoustic music and sound artwork). Since 2000, Hernández spent some time working as sound developer for theatrical has, sound post-production and re-recording mixing machine for radio, tv, and film. His function has been regarded using the 2005 Ariel Prize for Best Audio (provided by the Academia Mexicana de Artes con Ciencias Cinematográficas A.C.) for the film Temporada de Patos (2004) (Duck Period), the 2008 Ariel Prize for Best Audio (provided by the Academia Mexicana de Artes con Ciencias Cinematograficas A.C.) for the film Desierto Adentro (2008),the Initial Place in the air programs competition from the 8th International Biennial of Radio, Mexico 2010, with the air plan La Cabeza del Siervo as well as the 2010 Ariel Prize for Best Audio (provided by the Academia Mexicana De Artes con Ciencias Cinematograficas A.C.) for the film Un Infierno (2010).
