Dr. Michael Capps is a video game designer, executive manufacturer, head writer, business lead programmer, research teacher, and studio professional. He is most widely known for his 10 years as the leader of Epic Video games, makers from the mega-hit Gears of Battle and Infinity Edge franchises as well as the award-winning Unreal Engine. Mike presently serves over the boards from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS), the overall game Developers Meeting (GDC), Treatment Entertainment in Finland, the Sphero entertainment robotics firm in Colorado, and a few unannounced businesses.
