Nancy Travis was created in NEW YORK, to Theresa, a public employee, and Gordon Travis, a product sales executive. She resided in Baltimore and Boston before time for her birthplace to review drama at NY University. Her 1st work out of college was with New York’s American Jewish Theatre, and she hit the street, joining the nationwide tour of Neil Simon’s “Brighton Seaside Memoirs.” She’s maintained a link with the stage throughout her profession. A founding person in the brand new York-based off-Broadway theatre company Nude Angels, she made an appearance in their creation of Frank Pugliese’s play “Aven-U Males, ” aswell as “Ruler of Connecticut” with Frances McDormand. She also performed in the Broadway work from the award-winning play “I’m Not really Rappaport” with Cleavon Small and Judd Hirsch. Recently, she made an appearance in Athol Fugard’s “My Kids, My Africa,” that your author fond of the La Jolla Playhouse. No stranger to tv, Travis starred with Peter Gallagher and Isabella Rossellini in the Tom Cruise-directed section from the Showtime anthology series Fallen Angels (1993).
