Neha was created in the Punjabi-speaking Dhupia family members in Cochin, India, on August 27, 1980, so that as is customary with most Punjabi and Sikh family members – she was nicknamed ‘Chotu’. Her father is an Official in the Indian Navy, Pradip Singh Dhupia; her mother, Manpinder, is usually a homemaker, and she’s a sibling, Hardeep, who works together with Jet Airways. As a kid she completed her schooling in Vizag, after that in Naval General public School, and finally graduated ever sold from Jesus and Mary College in Delhi. She started her career as an actress in Rajdhani (1999) a TV serial through the year 1999. Since that time she has made an appearance in several Television advertisements, ramp displays, aswell as two music video clips. She gained instant popularity in India when she was crowned ‘Miss India 2002’, overtaking this name from Bollywood actress, Celina Jaitley. Neha completed amongst the top 10 in the ‘Miss World 2002’.
