Nydia Caro was created in NEW YORK of Puerto Rican parents. She went to the famous SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL from the Performing Arts. After many short stints in NY she came back to Puerto Rico where she quickly became a staple on regional television. She documented her first recording in 1973, and received the OTI HispanicAmerican Track Event in 1976, which produced her a global name. She’s occasionally came out in films manufactured in Puerto Rico just like the Gene Hackman/Morgan Freeman theatre Under Suspicion (2000).
