Olallo Rubio was raised in NORTH PARK and Mexico Town. Olallo started his media profession in 1995, at age 17, working like a DJ/sponsor for Mexico’s number 1 rock radio train station at that time: Radioactivo 98.5 FM; in 2002, he became the controlling director from the train station. During Olallo’s radio years he fought for independence of conversation by challenging authorities and corporate and business censorship. In 2007, he produced the Mexican documentary “So, What’s Your Price?”, the film was screened in Central Recreation area in NEW YORK, The Latino Film Event in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, The Havana Film Event as well as the Guadalajara International Film Event. Since that time he’s produced two more movies: the surreal, psychedelic, existential feature “This isn’t a Film” and “Gimme the energy”, a rockumentary centered on Mexico’s most questionable rock-band “Molotov”.
