Mini Biography

Paul was created and raised in Brussels, Belgium. After learning drums & percussion at college, he attended many Jazz summer applications in London (Britain) and Brussels (Belgium). He also went to the Classical Music System at England’s exclusive Canford College of Music. After graduating from senior high school using the school’s music honor, he relocated to Canada to go after his musical profession. At age 19, he graduated using the performance-oriented Jazz Music Diploma with Honours from St. Francis Xavier University or college. Following his armed service support in Ottawa, with Canada’s Country wide Military Band from the Ceremonial Safeguard for the ‘Changing from the Safeguard’ wedding ceremony on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Paul relocated to Toronto and went to the music applications at Humber University for the Applied Arts (Jazz / Industrial Music Overall performance) as well as the Harris Institute for the Arts (Music Business). After 31 many years of drumming expertly, Paul has recorded on 20 CDs (Cirque Du Soleil, McCauley, Solitudes), one Dvd and blu-ray (Cirque Du Soleil’s ‘Varekai’), performed in two movies (‘The X-Men’), three videos (Justin Grey), and ten live tv shows (The Tonight Present with Jay Leno, Live with Regis and Kelly). Paul also performed being a timpanist with Symphony Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Youngsters Orchestra, the Etobicoke Philharmonic, the Scarborough Philharmonic, as well as the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra. He’s in the musical personnel of five cruiselines including Princess Cruises. Until 2001, Paul trained privately for quite some time and executed percussion workshops in schools around Toronto. In the Springtime of 2001, Paul was employed as the highlighted drum set participant using the Emmy-nominated/Tony Award-winning Broadway Present ‘Blast!’ at Disney’s Epcot Middle in Orlando, Florida. He performs over 400 displays to over one million spectators each year with this Emmy-award earning show. Paul Continues to be touring with Cirque Du Soleil for a decade. He has resided in 70 metropolitan areas in 16 countries on 4 continents. His touring/journeying has taken him to a lot more than 93 countries on 6 continents. Paul speaks 6 dialects including Mandarin Chinese language.
