Composer, writer and conductor, educated in Britain. He became a US resident in 1948 and was appointed movie director of musical presentations at New York’s Capitol Theater. He was also the associate movie director from the Salzburg Celebration in 1927, and directed the state Austrian program on the Chicago Centennial in 1934. Between 1937 and 1941, he was under agreement to Hollywood film studios. Signing up for ASCAP in 1948, his popular-song compositions consist of “Viennese Thoughts”, “Rosalinda, Appreciate of Mine”, “Oh Jiminy, Oh Jiminy”, “Laughing Melody”, “Csardas”, and Melodrama”.
