Mini Biography

Hellenistic Jewish philosopher. He hailed from Alexandria, Egypt, where he was a respected person in the Jewish community. A prolific writer, his function brought jointly Greek school of thought and Jewish scripture, and significantly influenced following Greek Christian theologians like St. Clement of Alexandria and Origen. The majority of his functions contain commentaries over the Pentateuch, a lot of which survive in the initial Greek.
