She graduated from Ballet Rambert College in Twickenham, started her career like a dancer, but a personal injury at age group 18 pressured her to improve direction. She began at London’s Episode Centre towards the Royal Shakespeare Organization, where she portrayed little parts before graduating to little roles on tv. Polly got the title part in the tv screen series Lorna Doone (1990) prior to making her feature debut in Trip of Honor (1991) (“Shogun Mayeda”). She 1st gained interest as an British woman within an Irish terrorist brigade in Phillip Noyce’s Patriot Video games (1992).
