Mukerji originates from a film-oriented category of Bengali origin. Her dad, Ram Mukherjee, is certainly a retired movie director and among the founders of “Filmalaya Studios”. Her mom, Krishna Mukherjee, was a playback vocalist. Her sibling, Raj Mukherjee is certainly a film manufacturer, now turned movie director. Her maternal aunt, Debashree Roy, was a Bengali-film celebrity and her cousin, Kajol, is certainly a Bollywood celebrity. Mukerji is a tuned Odissi dancer, and began learning the dance in tenth quality. Mukerji researched at Maneckjee Cooper SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Juhu, and afterwards enrolled at Mithibai University in Mumbai.
