Blessed in Istanbul, Reha Erdem started his studies ever sold at Bogazici School in Istanbul. He graduated from Movie theater Section of Paris 8 School. He attained his M.A. in Plastic material Arts at the same school. He shot his initial feature-length film Oh Moon in 1989 being a French-Turkish co-production. He shot Operate for the money in 1999, Mommy, I’m Worried in 2004, Situations and Winds in 2006, My Just Sunlight, Turkish-Greek-Bulgarian co-production, in 2008 and Kosmos in ’09 2009. His most recent two movies are Jîn (2012) and Performing Females (2013), Turkish-French-German co-production. He composed most of his movies aside from Mommy I’m worried, that he was among the co-writers. He also offers short movies and aimed a movie theater play, Maids (Les Bonnes) by Jean Genet. He’s now focusing on two new tasks.
