In little town Indiana there aren’t a whole lot of options for a boy not necessarily trim out for farming. Therefore when he noticed fellow Hoosier, John Mellencamp, sing “ignore about that macho s**t and understand how to play electric guitar!” that’s just what he did. Everything began in a little United Methodist cathedral in Waldron, Indiana, Pop. 900. First performing in the cathedral choir, then performing music for the congregation along with his electric guitar on Weekend mornings,he fell deeply in love with music. He earned a BS level in Radio and Tv from Ball Condition School in Muncie, Indiana and continued to get his master’s level in the Indiana University College of music. Immediately after graduating from Ball Condition, Rhett met screenwriter Tom Barker who was simply focusing on the film ‘Deadly Breakthrough’ and he wrote incidental music and acted simply because script supervisor in the task and got his foot damp in the film business. From then on, Rhett wrote music for many corporate video projects and was commissioned to create music for special events though his real love was writing country songs. After many years of writing and playing music in Indianapolis, he packed up and relocated to Nashville TN where he resides and writes songs for Canzonet Posting.
