Hawaiian-born Richard E. Cunha received his film trained in the newsreel and film units of the united states Army Surroundings Corps during Globe Battle II. He produced his first rung on the ladder in to the civilian film business by causing industrial movies and commercials, and managed to move on to write, capture and immediate such early Television shows as “The Ventures of Marshal O’Dell” and “Captain Bob Steele as well as the Boundary Patrol” for Toby Anguish Productions. Cunha and his friend Arthur A. Jacobs after that plunged in to the ambitious area of shoestring 1950s exploitation by developing Screencraft Companies and cranking out the horror/sci-fi movies Giant in the Unknown (1958) and She Demons (1958) (both aimed by Cunha). Cunha afterwards put into his star by helming two even more well-remembered schlock game titles, Frankenstein’s Little girl (1958) and Missile towards the Moon (1958).
