Robert was created in Carlton, Victoria, Australia, the only boy of Rita Spalding and Uk emigrant Harry Chuter. He was raised in Williamstown and informed at RMIT, Victorian University from the Arts – College of Crisis, St. Martin’s Theater College, Melbourne Theatre Business Youth Theater and graduated through the renowned Swinburne Film and Tv College in 1983 earning the AAV Award for his brief film The Mortal Coil. He’s also a prolific and award-winning theatre movie director producing an extraordinary record of over 200 productions and dealing with a number of the world’s leading theatre businesses.
