He was a night-club comic through the entire USA, and composed music for Broadway revues including “New Encounters” (1952, 1956, and 1962) and in addition for Jules Monk’s night-club revues (he made an appearance in “Consider Five”) and on tv, and he previously a component in the Broadway creation of “The Sensitive Snare.” He also constructed the Broadway stage rating for “Bravo, Giovanni!.” Signing up for ASCAP in 1952, his key musical collaborator was Milton Schafer, and his well-known music included the parody tune “The Inquisition” (for the film Background of the Globe: Component I (1981)), “It’s AN EXCELLENT Day to become Seventeen,” “Lucky Pierre,” “REMOVE the Cover up,” “I’m deeply in love with Miss Logan,” “Harry the Hipster,” “Steady, Steady,” “Ah, Camminare!,” and “I’m All I’ve Got”.
