American astronaut Rusty Schweikart was created in Neptune Township, NJ. A graduate of Manasquan SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, he went to the renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and gained a B.S. in Aeronautics in 1956 and an M.S. in Astronautics in 1963. He enlisted in america Air Force being a pilot using the 101st Tactical Fighter Wing, accumulating a lot more than 4000 hours of trip time.
