American astronaut Rusty Schweikart was created in Neptune Township, NJ. A graduate of Manasquan SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, he went to the renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and gained a B.S. in Aeronautics in 1956 and an M.S. in Astronautics in 1963.
