Sammy Lee started as kid dance in Gus Edward’s Child acts, was later on with Ruby Norton the vaudeville group Norton & Lee for 6 years. Within the 1920s he started creating and staging dances for maker Florenz Ziegfeld Jr., on Broadway (e.g. Display Vessel, Rio Rita), worked well soon in Hollywood in 1929, came back there in 1933. He retired after WWII.
