Given birth to Satyendranath Basu Roy Chaudhury, child of Nepal Chandra Basu Roy Chaudhury, in the entire year 1906, in B K Roy Street,Beniakhamar, Khulna city, Bengal (now Bangladesh), was the youngest child from the zamindar family members. At child years his father observed his desire for drawing and motivated him in neuro-scientific artwork. After schooling at B K Organization, Khulna, called after his grand dad Baroda Kanto, he visited Calcutta to review artwork at Indian Artwork College, Dharmatala Road. During his early years he got the blessings of Nandalal Bose, the well-known musician and was also inspired by the functions of Jamini Roy and Picasso. He spent time in Allahabad and afterwards exposed his Art Studio room in Bhowanipur. He arrived to movies in early ’40s and was the musician of computer animation film ‘Jalpari’. He became a member of the film globe as Art Movie director and provides around 150 movies to his credit as Artwork Movie director. In the ’50-60s he was the Artwork Director of several Uttam-Suchitra strikes. He received Bengal Film Journalist’s (BFJA) Prize several times.
