Mini Biography

Seung-yong Nam was created Shoryu Nan about November 23, 1912 in Soon-Cheon, Southern Korea. Although given birth to in South Korea, Nam received his advanced schooling in Japan. Seung-yong received the bronze medal in the men’s marathon in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, Germany (he finished stated marathon in two hours, thirty-one moments, and forty-two mere seconds). In the wake of his Olympic triumph Nam continued to function for the Korean Wearing Association. Seung-yong passed away at age group 88 on Feb 20, 2001.
