Songwriter (“On the nice Dispatch Lollipop”, “Ma, He’s Building Eyes at Me personally”, “DO NOT Talk About Me personally When I’m Eliminated”, “Then I’M GOING TO BE Happy”) and writer, educated in the SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL of Commerce. He was a dancer and comedian in vaudeville, and in addition wrote special materials. In 1933 he found its way to Hollywood and published the film rating for RKO’s 1st film (“Road Girl”). Becoming a member of ASCAP in 1922, his main musical collaborators included Con Conrad, Cliff Friend, Lew Pollack, Sam Stept, Lew Dark brown, Richard Whiting, Jay Gorney, Harry Warren, Vincent Youmans, Oscar Levant, Wayne Monaco, and B. G. “Friend” DeSylva.
