Simon’s first work was being a journalist in the ‘Bridgwater Mercury’. He still left the newspaper to visit drama school. He began his performing career in Derby Playhouse in 1972 and they have included a huge selection of roles in theater, film, Television and radio. His Television debut was being a conman, Jim Potts, in ‘Coronation Road’, selling a dodgy shower to Ena Sharples. (She wasn’t misled.) But a lot of his Television career continues to be allocated to the various other side of regulations simply because policemen – including Sir Robert Peel off (within a dilemma documentary) and D.We.
