An Icelandic poet, novelist and lyricist who wrote the lyrics for Lars Von Trier’s gothic music Dancer at night. In the eighties Sjón was on the forefront of surrelist/experimental ensemble Medusa. With close ties towards the music globe he collaborated using the Sugarcubes and provides in old age been a normal article writer for Björk, composing lyrics on her behalf three strike singles Isobel, Jóga and Bachelorette. With eleven amounts of poetry under his belt and three books Sjón happens to be focusing on the follow-up to his award-winning book “Thyne Eyes Noticed Me”.
