The Hues Company were a pop and soul trio from Santa Monica, California. They initial produced in 1969. The music group members had been Flemming Williams, Bernard “St. Clair Lee” Henderson, and Ann Kelley. The group’s name is really a pun on well-known millionaire Howard Hughes (the spelling was transformed in order to avoid legal complications). They started their music profession performing on the Las Vegas modern casino Circus Circus so when an opening action for such performers as Frank Sinatra, Milton Berle, Nancy Sinatra, and Glen Campbell. The Hues Company appear because the awesomely cool soul group executing within a nightclub within the groovy horror blaxploitation cult preferred “Blacula.” Their debut one “Independence for the Stallion” reached #63 over the Billboard graphs in 1973.
