Theodore Olsen was created in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. He graduated from Rhinelander SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in 1950 and from Stevens Stage State University (today the College or university of Wisconsin at Stevens Stage) in 1955. Originally, he previously planned on being truly a comic remove artist but ultimately found his interest in writing instead of in artwork. In 1955, after many rewrites, he marketed his first reserve, Valley from the Hunted to Ace Books. It had been released in 1956 as Haven from the Hunted. Olsen provides written other styles besides westerns, including experience, gothic, love and historic. He offers written under different pen names aswell, such as for example Christopher Surprise, Cass Willoughby, and Joshua Stark. His book The Stalking Moon was converted to a film The Stalking Moon (1968) and his book Arrow in sunlight became the film Soldier Blue (1970) in 1970. He passed away of a heart stroke on July 13, 1993 at his house in Rhinelander at age 61.
