Tim Pope is well-known for his exclusive and thought-provoking promotional music movies played on MTV in the 1980s, for such rings as Talk Chat, Siouxsie as well as the Banshees, Soft Cell, The Design Council among others; however, he’s best known to be UK’s goth-rock group The Cure’s nearly exclusive movie director when it found producing their promotional music movies.
