Tucker Smallwood, the eldest boy of the educator and diplomat, was a NBC tv director before getting drafted in to the US Military in 1967. He was commissioned as an Infantry Official and offered as an OCS Tactical Official at Fort Benning, before going through Vietnamese language schooling and jump college. He afterwards commanded a Portable Advisory Team through the Vietnam Battle. After dealing with his fight wounds, Smallwood shifted to NY to study performing at a nearby Playhouse. He is the writer and the Sound Reserve narrator of “Go back to Eden”, an anthology of 33 essays describing his encounters as an Military consultant in Vietnam, his lifestyle as an professional thereafter and his go back to Vietnam in 2004. A life-long musician, Smallwood performed all vocals in the delta blues album “Incarnation: “The Robert Johnson Task”.
